High Efficiency Geothermal Heat Pump
2010 was another busy year for Mason Equipment (and the Masons’). In an effort to showcase Hydro-temp’s high efficiency heat pumps, we installed a 4 ton 3-stage Hydro-temp vertical unit with: UV lamp, and double priority hot water. The double priority hot water provides all the hot water for the house as well as hot water that is used for radiant floor heating of the basement slab. The system consists of 3 zones—2 on the first floor and 1 in the basement. This design has proved to be very comfortable. The picture of the system is below.
Currently, the electric use amounts to approximately $ 2.77/day (which is approx. 57% of the overall electric usage).
News for 2011!! · 2011 marks the beginning of our 10th year at Mason Equipment. We want to thank all our loyal customers—it is our continued goal to provide high quality products with good customer support. · We are always searching for new products that will help us to meet the demands of consulting engineers and mechanical contractors that we are working with. One such product is Maxair—we will soon be introducing many of our engineers to this unique and high quality equipment.
